Continuing with the tour we will visit the Naval Museum of Peru, which was officially established in 1958 and houses an important collection of oil paintings, photographs, jewelry, navigation instruments and weapons corresponding to the maritime history of Peru.
The most precious relics of Peru's seafaring heroes are kept here. The most notable items include the sword, cap, cufflinks, decorations, epaulettes, cutlery, navigation books and letters of the greatest hero Miguel Grau, known as the "Knight of the Seas" during the war with Chile. A fragment of his tibia is also kept in a sarcophagus, the only remnant that could be recovered after his sacrifice in the Battle of Angamos.
We will visit the Abtao Submarine, the visit to the NAVAL SITE MUSEUM will give you the opportunity to feel like a submariner for a day.
